Yesterday Oct 12th, four senior Leadership students took park in the District Student Leadership Forum in Mission. School districts and students from the Fraser Valley, Maple Ridge, and Langley gathered to discuss the theme "Motivation and Management". Student Leaders were captivated while listening to the main speaker, Brent Hayden. Brent is a Canadian Olympic Bronze medalist, who described in perfect detail, how we are motivated and the benefit of managing ourselves. Through various roundtable discussions, students discussed differences between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, how to manage school, and how school districts can support them.
