Hello AESS! Leadership would like to thank every individual who donated cans and coins to get out of block 6 and 1. Our canned food drive delivered just over 300 cans to our community service's food bank and our coin drive provided $330 for our WE Charity. This year the pillar that Leadership supports is Opportunity: Income and Livelihood. When parents have the time and money to invest in their children’s education and health, another barrier to education is removed and school attendance increases. When women are empowered to earn a living, they, in turn, empower their children to pull themselves out of poverty and achieve a brighter future.
